Weekly Sessions
We play every Monday night 8-10pm at Gateshead Leisure Centre, in the big hall at the back of the centre. The club is open to people aged 18 and over. If you fancy joining in, just turn up on a club night.

Bank Holidays
The Leisure Centre is closed on bank holiday Mondays, so the club won’t run on those days. We’ll put up a message on this site if a session is cancelled, so please check before coming.

Prices
Your first session is free. If you enjoy it, you can become a member – our costs are:

Weekly: £3.50
Membership: £15

Membership is in addition to weekly subs, and lasts one year, from January to December. This includes membership to Badminton England. Weekly subs cover the costs of booking the courts and shuttles, and membership covers insurance, club racquets, etc.

Equipment
We provide shuttles (plastic and feathers). We’ve also got a few spare racquets, although most people prefer to bring their own. Make sure you bring plenty of water!
